Dr. Amy-Jo Bekong, D.O., is a compassionate and forward-thinking physician and the founder of Ivory Bloom Health, a modern Primary Care and integrative wellness practice based in North Carolina. She is dedicated to redefining the healthcare experience by offering personalized, relationship-centered care that prioritizes time, trust, and transparency.

Driven by a deep desire to serve and uplift others, Dr. Bekong created Ivory Bloom Health as a space where patients are truly seen, heard, and cared for—without the rush and limitations of traditional medicine. Her approach blends evidence-based medicine with a holistic perspective, focusing on prevention, lifestyle, and long-term vitality.

Dr Bekong earned her medical degree from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2016 and went on to complete her residency training in Harnett county, NC where she developed a deep appreciation for serving diverse and often underserved communities.

With a background in comprehensive primary care and a passion for whole-person healing, Dr. Bekong has a special interest in women’s health, hormonal balance, metabolic health, and sustainable wellness. She is committed to helping patients achieve lasting health through thoughtful, individualized care plans that align with their personal goals and daily lives.
