What is Direct Primary Care?

Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a healthcare model where patients pay a monthly fee directly to their primary care doctor , bypassing tradition insurance. This fee covers most primary care services, such as consultations for acute illnesses, regular/routine check-ups, basic lab tests and specialists referrals as needed.

You can also receive prescription(s) at a discounted price through discounted prescription programs.

There are no additional copays or deductibles to worry about! With no insurance middleman, doctors can spend more time with patients and focus on personalized care. Patients benefit from easier access to their doctor, often including same -day appointments and communication via secured text messaging or email.

While you cannot use a Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay your monthly membership fee with Ivory Bloom Health, you can use it for any approved medical costs such as prescriptions, imaging, etc.
